Creation of the bases of the mobile design system from EXOS to adequate the current desktop viewport to fulfil accessibility requirements and grant a smooth mobile experience
The exhaustive review of various flows within the platform was key to achieve a correct interpretation of the elements within the system, which allowed us to correctly understand and prioritize elements within the screens.
The EXOS system is characterized by the large volume of complex information that it presents on each of its screens, so an important challenge in creating the mobile version was to present the information in a light and friendly way without losing the flow desktop users are used to.
One of the most emblematic elements in EXOS is the use of tables to disply correlated information. Throught different visualization excercises, the reached solution was the creation of cards in order to speed up the analysis of the information and granting a much much readable view.
The implementation of tabs to separate and distribute information was well received for its ease of use, cleanliness and order it provided to the product. Being its main use, the easy addition and discard of elements within different configuration sections.
One of the most agile points in the design process was the implementation of the atomic design methodology in the Design System creation. By promoting the creation of nested elements, the iteration on the elements was held in a more efficient, dynamic and organized way.
